About Exterminate

This is a game I developed during my freshman year at DePaul. This was for an early class and I spent half a trimester (about a month) developing it. I worked with Cassandra Chan, Howell Adams, Thomas Hemming, and Andrew Stewart.

We decided to make a retro-style space shooter and I got to learn many helpful things. My role on the project was a programmer and I designed and implemented the enemies' movement, attack patterns, and layout.  I also helped to develop the power-ups and their drop rate, the bosses attack patterns and the player control.

This was my first team developed game and I learned a lot about working with a team and keeping track of information (bugs, tasks, goals) as a group. I was happy to create this retro type of game and glad that I could contribute to much of the gameplay. This project proves my teamwork skills and speed in acquiring coding abilities.
